The West Coast National Park’s (WCNP) flower season promises to awe visitors this year after heavy winter rainfalls.
Vibrant flowers, including daisies and bulbs, will begin blooming this week, and August and September will be peak viewing months. Visitors are encouraged to plan weekday trips to avoid congestion.
WCNP Park Manager Charlene Adams told IOL, ‘We are excited about this year’s flower season, and the vibrant blooms are bound to mesmerise every visitor. The abundance of rainfall has worked wonders and we can’t wait to showcase the beauty of our park during the months of August and September.’
To avoid congestion, visitors are advised to plan weekday trips. The Geelbek Restaurant will be open during the Flower Season, enhancing the experience with culinary options. Overall, the WCNP flower season promises a captivating spectacle for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and families alike.
