This is Bushmans Kloof’s delicious rooibos iced tea recipe. It’s going to be my drink of choice next summer!
You’ll need:
- 2 litres water
- 20 organic rooibos tea bags
- 65 ml honey
- 5 star anise
- 2 tbs whole black peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves
- 125 ml brown sugar
- 250 ml apple juice
Bring all the ingredients, apart from the apple juice, to the boil. Simmer for an hour and allow to cool. Strain the mixture, add the apple juice and decant into jugs. Cool in the fridge until ready to serve.
