We are certainly among the lucky ones to have numerous markets and festivals around Cape Town that offer vibrant sights, tastes and smells. One of which is the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. (Read: Neighbourgoods Market: food for the soul). ‘Come rain or shine’ the market will be open and happening for 5 hours every week while maintaining its high standards of goodness. I have heard about the Old Biscuit Mill many times from friends and family who had gone before me.
Eventually I got my piece of the Biscuit pie and got to see what all the fuss was about. Walking into the market, the first thing I thought was ‘These people were under-selling this place’. Seeing as it would be physically impossible to eat all of the food, I had to make do with photographing it…
