Drivers will never lose their app settings again as TomTom has announced the launch of their latest, greatest and now updated navigation app. Known for its variety of navigation products, TomTom has improved their navigation app to exploit the iCloud support compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini.
This means that TomTom users can now save their personal data and back it up to iCloud with ease. Recent destinations and Points Of Interest (POIs) can be recovered from the cloud and future TomTom updates will restore preferences and settings.
Even if you have multiple Apple devices, settings will be backed up separately depending on how you prefer to use your device. For example, your office phone will link to particular GPS routes and settings, while you can keep your personal settings for another device without conflict.
The TomTom Navigation app for iPhone, iPad and iPad mini v1.13 is available to download now from the Apple App Store.
Drivers who already own the app can update for free.
