This funny video is not a satirical look at the current tourist habit of trying to post perfect holiday images to Instagram, but rather an advertisement by a hotel chain that offers to do that for you.
Swiss hotel brand ibis has launched a social media management service for guests. Dubbed ‘Relax we post’, the service encourages visitors to hand in their Instagram details upon checking in. A team on ‘social media-sitters’ then takes care of the rest.
Created by Zurich-based Jung von Matt/Limmat, the ‘Relax We Post’ service, has a team on 10 well-known influencers on hand who will post photos and upload Instagram Stories on behalf of hotel guest who choose to participate.
The service is available when you book any ibis hotel room in Geneva and Zurich at relaxwepost.ch until December 2.

In a similar setup, last year the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island hired a professional photographer, which it referred to as the ‘Instagram Butler’, to take photos of guests in beautiful spots that they could then upload to Instagram.
