The Dulini lodge collection in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Kruger National Park, recently received a 9/10 rating from the Telegraph UK.
Pippa de Bruyn, the Telegraph UK’s destination expert on South African adventure and travel, gave the lodge collection the prestigious rating.
The Dulini Collection is made up of three exclusive accommodation offerings: Dulini Lodge, River Lodge and Leadwood, all located near riverbeds and perfectly situated for viewing wildlife.
Each accommodation option under the portfolio offers patrons a unique experience, from traditional safari-style surroundings to modern, sleek ones.
For up close encounters with African wildlife, the Sabi Sands Game Reserve is a must-visit for locals and tourists.
We have taken a closer look at what makes these safari lodges special
1.Dulini Lodge
Dulini Lodge rests near the banks of the Mabrak river and offers guests a tranquil experience in the wild. With luxurious African-inspired finishes, the lodge only caters to 12 guests at a time making it an exclusive retreat.
Dine under the stars in the bush at the Dining Boma venue, with a fire-pit to keep guests warm as they tuck into a delicious meal. Healthy alternatives are offered to guests at all of the Dulini Accommodation options.

Six private thatched suites with their own plunge pools are available. The view over the riverbed gives guests a front-row seat to wildlife watching.
Children 8 years and older are welcome to stay with their parents at the lodge.
Various amenities such as a gym, pampering spot and a safari shop are available at the lodge.
2. Dulini Leadwood Lodge
Located between the Sand and Mabarak river, the lodge has become synonymous with an escape to the solitude of the African bush. There are only four suites available, adding to the tranquility of the environment.
The main lounge is an ideal spot for unwinding with a good book.

Each suite has an overview of the Sabi River and are decorated in a lavish and contemporary style.
Safaris are a close-knit affair, with vehicles catering to only six guests. Suites are accompanied by lap pools and guests are treated to an eyeful of wilderness when they dine on the viewing deck.

3. Dulini River Lodge
Dulini River Lodge provides guests with an utterly indulgent experience in a luxury safari accommodation with elegant and extravagant touches, such as the glass chandeliers which hang in the main lounge area.
A group of expert guides are available to take guests on informative safari trips.
The lodge, which was recently refurbished in 2018, welcomes children aged 8 years and over to stay with their families.
A wooden lit pathway guides guests outside to the dining spot under the stars.
