Cape Town Tourism has launched a winter campaign to promote domestic tourism through special deals and low-cost flights in partnership with Mango Airlines.
In a shift from previous campaigns’ reliance on pretty location shots of tourist attractions, the campaign is spearheaded by a video that pokes fun at perceptions of Cape Town and resonates with South African audiences.
It also features fun cameos by the likes of Ryan Sands, Siv Ngesi, Luke Dale Roberts, and Tali Babes and is directed by Ari Kruger, recent winner of multiple South African Film & Television Awards in the comedy category.
