More than 125 kg of rhino horn were seized at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport in Vietnam. The horns were concealed in thick plaster, reports The Guardian.
This comes just a week after Singaporean officials intercepted millions of Dollars-worth of pangolin scales and African elephant ivory.

The horns were smuggled in from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The haul equates to £6 million (R105,438,371). It is one of the biggest wildlife trafficking cases seen in southeast Asia.
Asian government agencies are working closely together to combat the illegal wildlife trade. Earlier this month, the United Nations released a report on illegal wildlife trade that outlines how prolific it is in southeast Asia.
Laos was singled out as a major global player in the trafficking of highly endangered species into Asian markets. Laos was also identified as the world’s fastest growing ivory market.
