Passengers on a recent flight from England to Turkey were shocked when a woman got severely intoxicated, took off her clothes and made sexual advances towards a fellow passenger. Louise Whyte, 38, had her seven-year-old on daughter with her, according to IOL.
Whyte had reportedly taken pain medication for a knee injury before consuming excessive amounts of alcohol on board, according to Manchester Evening News. The man, whom she had allegedly met before boarding, sat a few rows behind her. During the flight, she then went over to him and allegedly took off her clothes and offered to perform a sexual act. The man immediately alerted the flight crew.
The victim also had his 11-year-old son with him, and said that the incident left him feeling ‘a great deal of embarrassment.’ Whyte and her daughter were put on the next flight back to the UK once the plane landed in Turkey.
Whyte appeared in court yesterday, Monday 3 February, where she admitted guilt to sexual assault. She was recorded in the sex offender register for seven years and sentenced to six months’ jail suspended for a year.

Judge Sophie McKone told Whyte: ‘Once you were on that plane you effectively became out of control. So concerned were the crew and captain that as the plane landed they wouldn’t let you off the plane, quite rightly they didn’t think you would be able to care for your child. You failed remarkably in your responsibility to your daughter.’
Whyte’s defending lawyer Peter Horgan told the court she was ’embarrassed, ashamed and apologetic’.
