Visitors at the Kruger National Park are urged to be extremely cautious when driving around as the park has received heavy rain over the weekend. Certain roads are closed as a result.
In a Facebook post, SANParks announced that Shingwedzi camp has lost all telephone and cellphone communication.
The following roads are closed:
Lower Sabie Section – closing all gravel roads, except for Salitje/Old Tshokwane Road. (84mm rain received)
Kingfisherspruit Section (Orpen) – Closing all gravel roads (120 mm rain received)
Rain near Crocodile Bridge

The Park asks visitors to strictly adhere to the closures and not enter the designated roads.
