Passengers aboard the leisure boat ride called the Jungle Cruise at Disney World (Orlando, Florida) had to tread water as the boat sank during a ride.
‘A boat took on some water. Everyone got out of the boat safely,’ said a Disney spokesperson to news publication WESH Orlando. Luckily, the river is only about 1.5 metres deep and passengers were in no real danger except for getting soaked. Apparently, everyone involved took it in good spirits and resumed their activities at the park shortly after the incident.
Some passengers took to social media to share the funny incident:

Other Twitter users joked that this sinking might be a new ‘immersive experience’:
People claim they want more immersive, realistic experiences, but then complain when their Jungle Cruise boats begin sinking. Like, that happens sometimes, k?
