With the coronavirus bringing everything to a halt, many are struggling during this time. Globally, the tourism industry is one of the hardest hit by quarantines and travel restrictions. However, airlines are keeping their morale up by challenging each other to show off their planes.
On 16 April Finnair challenged Scandinavian Airlines, Norwegian Airliness, and Lufthansa to share images of their planes on Twitter. In the tweet, they said: ‘We’ll compete again when it’s time, right now we are rooting for you. Let’s reach all airlines with a message of support, choose three airlines and ask them to share their pics.’
There after, the challenge took flight, and many airlines participated.
