Scarlet Lady, the latest addition to Virgin Voyages’ fleet, was ready to set sail on her maiden voyage in April of this year. The coronavirus foiled these plans and the luxury cruise liner had to restructure its schedule.
Passengers will now embark from Miami to the Caribbean for the first time in October.
‘As of right now, our first sailing is planned for October 16th, 2020. We’re focused on being ready to get back on the open ocean with some exciting innovations focused on protecting the well-being of both our Sailors and our incredible Crew — which we’ll update you on soon,’ Virgin Voyages say on their website.
All cruises will be ‘adults-only,’ ensuring a completely different scene than the traditional family holiday. On board entertainment is tailored to any and all interests, and there will be no shortage of alcohol.
A ‘Shake For Champagne’ service will have a glass of bubbly in your hand anytime, anywhere via a convenient app.
‘I’m a great believer that every table should be made to dance on and in our Rock Star suites we even have stairs going up to the table so people can get up there and dance,’ Virgin Group founder and owner Richard Branson told Australian news outlet news.com.au.
The ship features a tattoo parlour, a casino, private karaoke lounges and nightclubs that will have you dancing to the ‘dopest up-and-coming acts in the DJ world,’ the website promises.
