Cruise enthusiasts are counting down the days until they can set sail again. MSC Cruises has had to keep extending their suspension of operations due to COVID-19.
Last month, the cruise company announced its plans to resume operations from 10 July, but has since announce it will further postpone their reopening until at least 31 July.
It’s not all doom and gloom though, as MSC has added two brand new ships to their fleet for their 2021 summer programme, MSC Virtuosa and MSC Seashore.
The MSC Virtuosa sports exciting features, such as the first humanoid robotic bartender at sea, and an indoor promenade with an LED dome.
‘This new cruise ship is one of the two largest in MSC Cruises’ fleet, along with her sister ship MSC Grandiosa, boasting an impressive array of guest features all coming together in perfect harmony to deliver the ultimate cruise holiday experience,’ MSC says on their website.
MSC is calling the ship ‘one of the most environmentally advanced ships at sea.’
The MSC Seashore is just as high-tech, with the world’s first digital cruise assistant, Zoe. This voice-enabled assistant found in every cabin speaks an impressive seven languages and cruisers can ask her any question on their mind.
(2/2) The newest MSC ship is set to have the highest ratio of outdoor space per guest of any of the MSC fleet, she will also be the fleets longest ship at 339m.
