Qantas has removed international bookings from its website until March 2021, with the exception of New Zealand and other potential ‘travel bubbles’.
Those searching for Qantas flights to destinations such as London, Asia or the USA, from now through to 28 March 2021 are bring operated by a few selected partner airlines, these include Emirates, British Airways and Cathay Pacific.
All previous bookings and flights themselves will remain in place, however, the removal of international bookings prevents any new bookings from being made on all overseas Qantas routes, according to Executive Traveller.
Passengers who have had their flights cancelled by the airline can choose to receive a full refund or can have their booking turned into travel credit. Any travel credit acquired can be used through to 21 December, 2022. Travelers can also choose to split their credit across multiple flights. Doing this will allow them to book several domestic flights instead of being restricted to just one international flight.

In June of this year Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce predicted that with the exception of New Zealand and other potential ‘travel bubbles’, unless a COVID-19 vaccine is released in the near future, all international flying would be suspended until the middle of 2021.
‘We have to position ourselves for several years when revenue will be much lower,’ Joyce said in a statement published by CNBC. ‘And this means becoming a much smaller airline in the short term.’
