If you’re fond of travelling by bus, then there is a new overland trip to add to your travel bucket list. Travel company Adventures Overland has a new offering, a bus from Delhi to London.
According to CNN, the hop-on/hop-off bus experience can take up to 20 passengers across 18 countries over 70 days. Travellers can take in the sites along the way, crossing from Europe to Asia.
Founded by Tushar Agarwal and Sanjay Madan who completed a similar trip on their own, the two believed others would enjoy the experience.
‘There are a lot of people, travellers, who want to experience these overland journeys, but they don’t want to drive,’ Agarwa told CNN. So, we came up with the idea of putting together a bus in which people can sit comfortably and go on long distance journeys. And that’s how the idea of the Bus to London was born.’
The first bus will start its journey in May 2021, depending on whether all the necessary borders are open.
Passengers will be able to decide which city they would like to start in and whether they want to do the full trip or hop off at any point and carry on their own travels.
The total cost is estimated at $20,000 (around R340,000), but those who don’t do the full trip will pay less.
