If you’ve travelled by train in Europe, you will know the sinking feeling of forking over bundles of cash for a ticket. That piece of paper is one of the more pricy items you’ll purchase.

Discounted train ticket prices are available until January 4 and are valid for the whole of 2021.

The stress of misplacing it is close to that of losing your passport.

Now, Eurail are killing two birds with one stone. Travellers can scoop up discounted ticket passes for 2021 that are also digital: No more fretting!

With a network of 33 countries, the Eurail pass allows travellers to seamlessly explore the continent by train. There really is no better way to see Europe.

Eurail is offering a 20% discount on its Global Passes until January 4, 2021 – that will be valid throughout the new year.

‘This holiday season we want to give you something to look forward to. That’s why Eurail Passes are 20% off until 4 January, 2021. We know thinking ahead is tricky at the moment, so we don’t want you to rush – do your research, plan things out and pick the safe and flexible option that works for you! The only rush you should feel is the rush of excitement that comes with arriving to new places when you travel through Europe in the new year,’ said the Eurail website.

Some of the perks include:

  • Save 20% when you buy now for travel starting any time in the next 11 months.
  • With the new mobile Pass, you can choose to start your trip whenever you’re ready.
  • Travel in any of the 33 countries included in your Global Pass.
  • During the sale, upgrade to Plus in the checkout for a mobile Pass that is 100% refundable (85% without upgrade).
