Sir David Attenborough’s newest docu-series A Perfect Planet showcases the fragility and power of planet Earth.
Our favourite naturalist takes viewers on a journey through various parts of the globe, with each episode analysing Mother Nature’s greatest forces.
Attenborough announced the new show on BBC Earth‘s Instagram page on New Year’s Day.

Last year, the veteran broadcaster (94) gave the world the talking to it needed regarding climate change in his documentary, A Life on our Planet, which is available to watch on Netflix.
Attenborough has long fought for the preservation of Earth and all its inhabitants and A Perfect Plant shows some of the rarer beings who are in more desperate need of saving.
In a recent interview with Radio Times, Attenborugh said he believes his flying days are numbered.
‘It’s probably a fact of age, but I was finding my heart was sinking deeper and deeper into my boots every time I walked up into an aircraft and looked down that long line and thought, ‘I’m going to be here for another 24 hours.
‘It didn’t make my heart lift with pleasure,’ he said. Lets hope A Perfect Planet is not the last of his works.
The show will only be available to watch in South Africa on February 14 on BBC Earth at 4PM. While we wait with baited breath, watch below for the trailer.
