RwandAir announced that flights to and from Johannesburg and Cape Town will be temporarily suspended. The suspension went into effect on February 8 and will remain in place until further notice.
This comes as the pandemic continues to create uncertainty for the global travel industry and the concerns over the ‘Covid variants prevalent throughout Southern Africa.
The airline has also suspended flights to Harare, Zimbabwe and Lusaka, Zambia.
Passengers affected by the suspension can either rebook and fly at a later date for free or request a refund, the airline said.
