The new luxury hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is gearing up to welcome its first guests in early July of this year. The Palm River Hotel, an expansion of Ilala Hotel Group, hopes to give the country a much-needed tourism boost.
The hotel will feature 71 rooms. This includes 60 deluxe rooms, two wheelchair-accessible rooms, two deluxe suites, two honeymoon suites, two family suites, three executive suites, one presidential suite and one Palm River Villa inclusive of three bedrooms, according to All Africa.
‘Elegantly appointed with comfort and space in mind, the interior design of the rooms is focused on bringing the outside in, with the stylish use of natural tones, locally sourced materials and artwork reflective of the area,’ said Heather Kay, manager of the hotel.
