Never a dull moment in the Kruger National Park! Mariette Landman recently came across a mischievous sub-adult leopard having a go at a porcupine near Satara.
The leopard didn’t seem too aggressive, but rather curious and playful. It got a slight injury to the paw after meddling with the porcupine. After a few minutes of scuffling, the leopard called it quits and both animals went on their way.
‘After about 90 min, both walked away,’ Landman said. ‘What privilege to experience this.’
