In a rare sighting, safari-goer Graeme Mitchley filmed a lion grooming what looks to be a days-old lamb (possibly steenbok or grysbok) and carrying it around alive in Kruger National Park. A few times, the lion puts the lamb down and as it starts walking off, he follows it only to pick it up in his mouth again.
Many Facebook followers speculated on the outcome and commented on the video posted by Latest Sightings. Some guessed the young lion was practicing its hunting. Others pointed out that cats are prone to play with their food before eating it.
