Gauteng is known for its beautiful, electrifying thunderstorms during summer. Recently, showers have blanketed Johannesburg and surrounds, with spectacular flashes of lightning and dramatic clouds. More rain and thunderstorms are expected for later in the afternoons and evenings of 2 and 3 December.
