A new state-of-the-art spa and wellness centre has opened at the San Lameer Resort Hotel & Spa in Southbroom. Situated on the lush banks of the Umhlangamkulu lagoon within the prestigious San Lameer eco-estate, the brand-new Lagoon Day Spa & Wellness Centre is the largest spa in operation on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast.
This flagship facility boasts eight treatment rooms, two private jacuzzi pods, an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a hair and nail studio, a relaxation room, and gym. The treatment rooms have been designed to offer either single or couple treatments.
Guests can choose from an extensive spa menu; expertly selected by Monya Ashburner who will oversee the spa operation. With eight years of experience in beauty and wellness management, Monya will be assisted by a fully qualified team of therapists and somatologists.

The spa is accessible to both day visitors and in-house guests staying at the San Lameer Resort Hotel & Spa. A variety of well-priced Spa-and-Stay packages have also been launched, allowing guests to combine some of the Lagoon Spa & Wellness Centre’s signature treatments with an idyllic few days away at the charming 40-bedroom upscale hotel.

Other facilities on the estate that guests can make use of during their stay include the 18-hole championship golf course, two blue flag beaches bordering the estate, birding and nature trails, mountain biking routes, tennis courts, squash courts, action cricket nets, bowling greens, boat rides, fishing, and so much more.
