All ports of entry to Zimbabwe are open to vaccinated travellers after the Zimbabwean cabinet agreed to open all of their land borders on 15 February 2022.
All persons entering Zimbabwe must present a negative Covid-19 test not older than 48 hours and be fully vaccinated. Prior to the announcement, the borders were only open for commercial activities and for returning Zimbabwean residents.
This announcement comes with a continued decline in cases, according to The Herald. For travellers, this means that Zimbabwe is now open to tourism, with intercity travel allowed for any travel and attractions such as Victoria Falls National Park, and other parks around the country open once again.
Restaurants and bars may open from 8 am to 10 pm, with strict adherence to Covid guidelines. A curfew between 12 am and 5:30 am remains in place throughout the country.
