Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden has received the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best award for 2022.
The nominees are determined by the last 12 months of the most recent reviews on TripAdvisor with a special focus on the quality and quantity of reviews for each contender.
The famed Kirstenbosch Garden is celebrated on a global level and is known as one of Cape Town’s ‘Big 6’ iconic tourist attractions, alongside Cape Point, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, Robben Island Museum, Groot Constantia and the V&A Waterfront.
The Curator of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Werner Voigt said: ‘We are extremely honoured to receive this award from TripAdvisor. Hard work and immense dedication go into upholding the experience we aim to provide at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. This acknowledgement from our visitors provides additional encouragement for our team to deliver quality customer service and continue to go from strength to strength.’
Kirstenbosch was not the only attraction that has shone a light on the Mother City. The V&A Waterfront, Groot Constantia, Cape Point and the Cableway all bagged Travellers Choice Awards, which places these Cape Town attractions in the top 10% of “things to do” worldwide.
