Air Mauritius will reinstate bi-weekly flights between the Indian Ocean island and Cape Town from 16 November, the airline announced.
This flight service to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius will depart Cape Town International Airport on Wednesdays and Sundays, returning to Cape Town on the same day.
The only direct flights between South Africa and Mauritius are from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg and the reinstatement of direct flights from Cape Town could entice more Capetonians to consider Mauritius as a destination.
