There was an emotional moment aboard a British Airways flight from New York to London as the pilot informed the crew and passengers that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away.
‘Elizabeth, the Queen, passed away earlier today with the family by her side, we have little more information than that at the moment,’ the pilot can be heard announcing on the video.
During the announcement, one of the flight attendants can be seen crying after hearing the news.
‘But I thought I should at least tell you that before you arrive at the terminal as I know many will be very, very sad about this,’ the pilot continued.
‘It will give you some time to reflect, as I say we have 40 minutes to landing. We’ll all be thinking about her family at this time.’
