A Nile crocodile turned on its handler at a KwaZulu-Natal reptile park, biting him during a public show on 10 September.
The crocodile handler at KZN’s Crocodile Creek sustained wounds to his hand and thigh, according to The South African, and although this is the first incident with this crocodile, it is not the first crocodile attack at Crocodile Creek.
But, the handler apparently sowed the wounds himself and was back at work 20 minutes later. The Nile crocodile, named Hannibal, is a 78-year-old 660 kg crocodile. Watched the incident below.
