Hippo calf in Kruger storms warthog, then has second thoughts

Posted on 2 November 2022 By Olerato Ramafsi

The world-renowned Kruger National Park is the oldest national park in Africa and one of South Africa’s most popular tourist destinations. Affectionately known as the “People’s Park”, visitors are always sure to witness amazing nature sightings and food chain duels.

Trying out its hunting skills, the young hippo geared into stealth mode and tried charging toward the unbothered warthog. But warthogs aren’t that easily scared an it stood its ground, definitely giving the hippo food for thought.
