The Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital has hand-raised a group of five large spotted genets and they are now old enough to begin their slow-release process.
The large spotted genet is widely distributed throughout South Africa from the Southern and Eastern coasts, extending north in neighbouring countries.
These five genet kits could not be reunited with their moms and were bottle-fed with a unique milk formula. Have a look at these adorable rescued animals that will be off to the wild soon.
The Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital treats indigenous animals free of charge, relying solely on donations.
