Cathay Pacific has announced that it will reinstate three non-stop direct flights between Johannesburg and Hong Kong from August 2023.
The airline will re-commence its operations on Tuesday, 2 August 2023, providing South Africans with convenient and direct access to Hong Kong and further connecting them to destinations across the carrier’s Asian network that includes the Chinese Mainland, Indonesia and Thailand, among others.
Currently, customers travelling before August can take advantage of special fares and choose to fly with one of the airline’s interline partners from Johannesburg to Hong Kong via Dubai to their preferred destinations.
The airline is prompting passengers to take advantage of early bird fares until 16 April, where tickets purchased between August and November can save up to 30%.
‘We are eager to not only welcome our customers from South Africa to experience our warm Asian culture but also the comfort and efficiency when travelling onboard the Airbus A350-900,’ Anand Yedery, Regional Head of Marketing and Sales, South Asia, Middle East and Africa, commented.
Customers can book their tickets on the Cathay Pacific website or through the airline’s travel partners.
