Many South Africans woke up this morning to a blanket of snow outside their windows as temperatures dropped last night, 28 June.
Snowreport.co.za said that snow has fallen over Lesotho and the Drakensberg and more snow is possible across South Africa later today.
The South African Weather Service has also issued a warning regarding road closures in certain parts of the Eastern Cape and advises drivers to be careful on the roads.
