The second instalment of Run For Rangers, an event founded by 18-year-old Harry Bailey to raise funds for anti-poaching efforts in KwaZulu Natal from 22-25 September
This year, the run is open to entries to continue to legacy of the Run For Rangers event, taking place in Babanango Nature Reserve. The beneficiaries of the run will be Project Rhino powered by the Sport for Lives movement, will aim at continuing to help the courageous men and women who protect our precious natural resources.

The run
Day 1 – 50 km (Start near Zulu Rock Lodge and end at Valley Family Luxury Lodge).
Day 2 – 50 km (Start near Zulu Rock Lodge and end at Madwaleni Ultra Luxury River Lodge).
Babanango Game Reserve, in KwaZulu-Natal, showcases an ambitious rewilding project. With diverse wildlife and historical sites, it ensures an unrivalled safari experience.
The challenge spans two days, covering 50 km each day. Participants need to raise a minimum of R30,000 by 10th August 2023 to secure their place. Accommodations, meals, support vehicles, and more are provided for runners. Madwaleni River Lodge and Valley Lodge offer luxury accommodations for the top fundraisers.
Lodge 1 – For the runners who raise the most funds
Madwaleni River Lodge is unfenced, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding natural beauty. The lodge features twelve luxury tents. Each tent is renowned for its unique design and has received the award-winning distinction, offering unrivaled comfort and style.
