Whether served frozen, straight up or on the rocks, margaritas carry an appeal that knows no season. While some may question its suitability in this nippy weather, one truth remains: the looming risk of brain freeze renders the external temperature irrelevant.

Here are five eateries that serve margaritas in Cape Town:

1. Hacienda Coastal Mexican

2. The Fat Cactus
