Kenya Airways expands further into Chinese market

Kenya Airways is strengthening its global strategy by embracing a renewed focus on the Chinese market.
The airline has announced the launch of a new direct flight from Nairobi to Beijing.

As reported by Travel and Tour World, this comes as the airline approaches its 20th anniversary of operations in China.

Kenya Airways has been connecting travellers with weekly flights to Guangzhou from as early as 2005.

In an announcement made by Executive Thairu, the importance of China as a key trading partner was emphasized.

‘Kenya is China’s largest trading partner in East Africa, and in turn, China is our leading trading partner and primary source of imports’.

The country’s visa policies and diverse tourism resources have all contributed towards the growing interest among Chinese tourists.

As Kenya Airways continues to adapt to the changing travel landscape, it remains committed to leveraging its strong ties with China.
The airline also strives to ensure that it remains a competitive player in the global aviation industry.
