Latest Sightings has reported a unique wildlife encounter that depicts an elephant tramping a crocodile to death in shallow waters.

Wildlife enthusiast Hans Henrik Haahr captured this fantastic battle while on safari, showcasing the sheer brutal force elephants can have over any threat. The video shows the mother towering over the crocodile and stomping and throwing around his carcass to ensure the job was done.

The altercation seemed to have occurred when the crocodile ventured close to the mother’s calf, sparking the attack in the water where the predator resided. The video also displays the elephant lactating, which could also indicate why thismother bearprimal instinct took place.

What makes this altercation so phenomenal is the elephant’s way from dry land into crocodile territory to eliminate any threat to her young. There is genuinely no bounds to a mother’s love, even in the wild.
