The latest quality tests for Cape Town beaches have received world-class results. This is as per an announcement by the City of Cape Town.
As reported by SA People News, excellent and world-class water quality was revealed by an independent analysis of water samples at 30 of the city’s most popular beaches.
According to the City of Cape Town, 100% of the 120 water samples collected over the past month met recreational water quality guidelines.
Moreover, this recent data includes the enterococci counts for the last 10 samples which were taken at each of the 30 beaches.
Since August 2024, only 2.3% of the 300 samples exceeded acceptable limits, typically due to rainfall or isolated pollution incidents.
