The Investec Cape Town Art Fair, Africa’s largest contemporary art showcase, returns from February 21 to 23, 2025, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The 12th edition promises a vibrant celebration of art, featuring 124 exhibitors from around the world, including first-time participants from Tokyo, Kampala, and Kuwait City.

This year, the fair welcomes its largest group of new exhibitors yet, with 30 galleries making their debut. Highlights include the Lookout section, dedicated to emerging galleries, and the second iteration of Cabinet/Trophy: Playing the Field, an engaging project merging art and football.
Curatorial excellence shines through special sections led by esteemed curators, including Céline Seror (SOLO) and Heba El Kayal (Generations). The thematic focus, PLAY, transforms the fair into an interactive space where visitors become co-creators, exploring art through sensory and emotional experiences.
Beyond the CTICC, the fair extends into Cape Town’s galleries and cultural landmarks, creating a citywide festival. With over 30,000 visitors expected, a rich program of talks, tours, and exhibitions will highlight contemporary African and global art.
