Although only half as high as Bloupunt, the summit rewards with breathtaking panoramas of the town, its deep ravines, and majestic mountains.
The peak itself is a spectacle of natural beauty, adorned with exquisite rock formations and a colorful array of wildflowers. Hikers will find themselves surrounded by aloes, proteas, “sewejaartjies,” and ericas, making it a botanical treasure trove. The entire loop, measuring 12.1 km, can be comfortably completed in 4 to 6 hours. The initial steep ascent from the overnight cabin is the most challenging part of the hike, but the route becomes significantly easier afterward, inviting adventurers of all levels to discover the unique charm and tranquility of this trail.
