As reported by The South African, the research highlighted Mzansi as an ideal destination for digital nomads to maximize their savings while benefiting from a high quality of life.

South Africa ranked as the 4th most popular destination for digital nomads. According to the study, the country is also among the most affordable places to live, with an average cost of living being approximately $1 000 (+/- R18 000) per month.
