The wheel is seriously gathering some momentum here at the Put Foot Rally headquarters, the weeks have been flying by, each exceedingly more epistratopheric (think we just coined a new phrase there: epic, awesome and euphoric all in one?).
If you haven’t yet heard, Mountainshak Adventures and South Africa’s largest and most trusted authority on all things travel, adventure, bushcraft and jolling in Africa have shaken hands and will be bringing you even more awesomeness on the Put Foot Rally this year. With the hugely successful Getaway Show in Cape Town out of the way, the Getaway crew have turned their attention to participating in the first ever social rally in Southern Africa. Who knows who, and how many people, they will have in their crew, or what wheels they will be driving. One thing is for certain, if there ever was a crew that would be expected to know all the best roads, the best places to camp, the best equipment to pack and where all the wild animals will be, it would be the Getaway crew, right? Right? (No pressure guys).
As we all wait with baited breath to see what type of wagon the Getaway team are going to be rolling out, bear in mind that there has never been a better time to dispel the myth that Africa is only accessible to the okes with big bucks in their groot 4x4s. The rally is open to all types of vehicles and it’s up to you to get it to the finish.
