In a land where sarmies are king and braais are our national pastime, fun-loving South Africans across the country need to gear up to get their ‘Braaibroodjie’ game on!
The Campworld Braaibroodjie Challenge will be held at participating Campworld dealers countrywide, during October and November. Young and old participants alike will be invited to show off their sarmie-making skills at Campworld dealer ‘Campworld Braaibroodjie Toast-off’ sessions on specific days.
A panel of judges will test their taste buds to assess the tastiest toasties in town, and the top three braaibroodjies from each of the dealer events will have their creations showcased at the ‘Campworld Braaibroodjie Finals’, to be held on Saturday 25 February next year at the 2017 Beeld Show. Here, three top celebrity chefs will replicate the finalists’ culinary masterpieces with flair. A specially selected panel of judges will pick the winning Braaibroodjie, as well as two runners-up.
The winner will not only get ‘Campworld Braaibroodjie King’ bragging rights, but a R5000 Campworld voucher. The second prize is a R2500 Campworld voucher, and the third prize is a R1000 Campworld voucher.
