Just opened last month, Mdluli Safari Lodge offers an authentic, luxury African safari experience in the south-western corner of the incomparably beautiful Kruger National Park, an area which is often a hotspot for the Big Five.
It was developed in partnership with the Mdluli community, and is easily accessed through a private road near Numbi Gate, a four-hour drive from Gauteng. The affordable lodge has 50 air-conditioned, en-suite tents, which can sleep a family of four. Each tent site has a private patio and both an indoor and outdoor shower.
The contemporary restaurant and bar have panoramic views over a river, an à la carte lunch menu, separate boma areas for large- and small-group dining and, of course, all with the pleasure of dining in the bush.
Game drives are included in the package and additional game drives can be arranged, or guests can do self drives in the surrounding Kruger Park.

Terms and conditions
The prize is valid from 15 December 2019 to 15 December 2020, excluding public holidays, local school holidays and peak periods. It’s subject to availability and is not transferable nor redeemable for cash. It excludes transport to and from the lodge, the community levy of R40 per person per day, the Kruger National Park conservation fee of R93 per person per day (unless you have a Wild Card), lunch and all beverages.
