Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa in the big five Welgevonden Game Reserve is ready to welcome guests to their newly revamped luxury suites. This five-star, family-friendly lodge sleeps 24 and is less than a three-hour drive from Johannesburg.
Mhondoro is known for unique animal encounters and photographic opportunities provided by a ground-level game-viewing hide. Various new eco-friendly initiatives include a major solar-power installation which has taken the lodge off the grid. Special features include a custom-built ‘star deck’ with a telescope for stargazing and a spa with an outdoor deck and spa bath.

The prize is valid from March 2021 to 28 February 2022, subject to availability, and excludes peak season (14 Dec – 10 Jan), and the high-season months of April and October. The prize excludes transport to Welgevonden and other transfers, conservation levies, gratuities, premium brand alcoholic drinks, spa treatments and all other extras, as well as gate transfers to/from the lodge outside of the scheduled times.
