For a visual demonstration, watch how the Milki Melkkos is made below:
First Choice MILKI, manufactured by Woodlands Dairy, has launched a new banana flavour. The MILKI range will now boast eight flavours including Banana, Chocolate, Chocolate Malt, Cookies & Cream, Cream Soda, Strawberry, Toffee and Vanilla, each with green biobased closures.
All of the flavours are Tartrazine free and have no added colourants. The chocolate is unique as it does take on the colour of the cacao in the recipe. Furthermore, the milk is G-free, meaning it is commercially sterile so it’s free of pathogens and microorganisms that can develop during storage.
The biobased closure, which is used for all UHT product ranges, is partly made from a renewable resource, which in this case is sugarcane. Sugar cane grows back once it has been harvested and is therefore renewable.
First Choice is the first dairy manufacturers in South Africa to make this change.
MILKI is offered in 250ml single packs and six-packs. Available at leading retailers from R8,99 per 250ml pack and R53,99 per six-pack.
