This recipe serves two.
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tbs caster sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 free-range egg, beaten
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbs melted butter
Cooking instructions
Sift the flour and sugar together with the salt. Add the milk and mix until smooth, then add the egg and melted butter. Heat a frying pan and add a knob of butter. As soon as it’s melted, place a heart-shaped biscuit cutter in the pan and pour in some batter. When the batter bubbles, remove the cookie cutter, flip the pancake and cook until golden. Repeat until all the batter is fi nished. Serve the pancakes with blueberries and drizzled with honey or syrup.
Recipe tip
Add chopped banana, apple or chocolate to the batter.
