First Ascent Vista Poles
This shock-absorbing pole comes standard with all the accessories you may need [different baskets for varying surfaces, rubber tip protector and a cool key-ring], this is a good value for money pole that packs down small and is super light. Top of the handle screws off and reveals a handy camera thread, turning the pole into a monopod. This four section pole is not too sturdy under a heavy load though.

Black Diamond Contour Shock FlickLock Poles
While a little heavier, these are solid poles that provide great support no matter what the terrain and load. The patented air shock is superb and works similar to those on your car. The FlickLock system is superb and offers better serviceability out on the trail. Downside: a little pricey and all the accessories are optional extras!
