The designer Jorgen Solstad provides some insight on the design:
“We wanted to create a sturdy and spacious lunchbox for people who need and carry sizable lunches. This compelled us to design a box that could function like a bag in its own right by including carrying straps – and the ‘Robust’ was born!”
