‘It’s the best Windows Phone device out there’ – TechRadar.com
The Mango fruits of Nokia’s collaboration with Windows will soon be available for tasting in SA. The Lumia 800 is set to land before the end of March and the lower priced Lumia 710 by mid-year.
The Lumia 800 smartphone looks very similar to the stylish N9 but runs Window’s Phone 7.5 Mango software. The new software is by all accounts a huge improvement on previous Symbian and Meego versions. The Lumia comes pre-loaded with free turn-by-turn navigation with a dedicated in-car user interface. And Nokia Music will be introducing MixRadio, a free, global, mobile music-streaming application that delivers 100s of channels of locally-relevant music.
More details on operators, packages, exact availability and pricing will be given at the end of January.
